Welcome to the JAGD & HUND 2010
The Branch’s unparalleled Meeting Place: JAGD & HUND continues to set new standards
The positive conclusions to be drawn from the JAGD & HUND 2009 were new records on numbers of exhibitors and on rented space as well as a further increasing degree of internationality both with regard to visitors as well as exhibitors. Over 650 exhibitors from 35 different countries (2008: 30 countries) presented their extensive range of products and services to a public as ready and willing as ever to spend their money. The six days of the Exhibition brought a turnover of around 33 million Euros, which meant that despite the economic and financial crisis it was still possible to maintain the very high levels of recent years. At the time of the survey over 90% of the visitors had either already bought something or intended still to buy something at the JAGD & HUND 2009. Nine out of ten exhibitors definitely or very probably want to return again next year to the JAGD & HUND. Not one single exhibitor categorically excluded the possibility of returning.Significance of the JAGD & HUND on the increase – also on international level
The JAGD & HUND is already at the stage where 12.8% (previous year: 12%) of the approx. 71,500 visitors travel from abroad – an absolute all-time high. As in previous years, as far as the selection of international hunting holiday companies is concerned, the JAGD & HUND continues to hold its top position in Europe. In 2009 it was the Czech Republic that participated as the Partner Country together with numerous native exhibitors. In 2010 Croatia will be taking on the role of Partner Country at the JAGD & HUND.
Extensive Supporting Programme
Numerous events and competitions, some of which will be attracting a lot of media attention, such as the German stag-calling championships, the ladder-building competition or the presentation of various types of hunting will be rounding off the Exhibition programme. Once again in 2010 hall 3B which was introduced three years ago will be hosting, along with the spectacular off-road vehicle tracks and the life-like woodland area, also commercial exhibitors and will continue its year-by-year increase in visitor awareness.
Why not also take advantage of the success of the JAGD & HUND and secure your stand space at Europe’s leading meeting place for hunting and angler fishing in 2010? We look forward to seeing you there!
